About Me

Hi! I'm Djeneba.

I'm a junior in college and I have this great opportunity to study abroad in Dakar, Sénégal. While in Sénégal, I would like to bring everyone along and share my experiences. For so long people have been so accustomed to Africa's narrative as being dangerous, dirty, under developed, full of diseases and famine; which is true to some extant. However, I want to shift that narrative. I am here to show you all that Africa, particularly what Sénégal has to offer, through picture and videos . I will be going on weekend trips, trying out new food and meeting new people. I can not wait to bring you all along to all my adventures.
